Volume 2, Number 2 • Summer 2012
Here we are in the heart of the 2012 Season – the 115th for the Scarborough Inn! As always, it is our pleasure to welcome Jersey Shore vacationers to our bed and breakfast; our aim is to help you have a memorable visit – every time!
We are enjoying an absolutely spectacular season weather-wise. It is frequently warm with sunshine and blue skies, but low humidity. That’s perfect beach and boardwalk weather, but also excellent for bike riding, shopping, Wine Trail visiting, tennis playing – in short, enjoying all the myriad activities and the special events Ocean City, NJ has to offer! The island’s vacation calendar is packed, so LIKE us on facebook, follow the inn on Twitter, peruse our online OC travel guide aka inn blog, and take a look at our Pinterest boards or youTube channel for ideas about things to do or places to discover when visiting the Scarborough Inn.
Our Specials and Packages page lists opportunities for savings throughout the season. Using the Create-Your-Own-Package feature, you can add amenities that fit your style or special occasion…and your budget! We look forward to welcoming you very soon.
On behalf of the entire staff, we want to thank the many of you who have posted wonderful reviews online and /or left positive remarks on the Comment Cards at the inn. We are always delighted to pass along praise for specific staff members or to learn which inn amenities and features you appreciate. Thanks, too, for helpful suggestions – they help us continually improve your experience.
Thank you for your support and kindness – you are truly our valued guests and the bright and shining stars of precious memories of our 25 years as innkeepers at the Scarborough Inn.
Gus & Carol
and Staff of the Scarborough Inn
PS – If you have not visited yet this season, you will find the new Route 52 Bridge & Causeway an incredible addition to Ocean City. It is not only safe, but also scenic – either looking at this impressive new structure or while enjoying the incredible vistas from the height of the spans! See an OC PATCH photo tour HERE.
