Also, we are happy to report that our town is “Open for Business!” Repairs and renovations are proceeding around the community and you will note changes, improvements, and new additions when you visit. NEWS BITES - from Ocean City
& Cape May County
Finally! The Bridge-Causeway Project will be completely finished. The final phase includes the opening of the Route 52 Walking/ Biking Trail – about 2 miles long – from Ocean City to Somers Point (in Atlantic County). The structure includes a fishing pier, boat ramp, and Welcome Center – plus it all comes with spectacular views.

The Ocean City Beach and Boardwalk are in great shape and the beaches are being replenished or widened where needed.

History Buffs, there are a number of fascinating places to visit throughout Cape May County. For example, there’s a living history museum that showcases life in a typical South Jersey town during “the age of homespun” (1789-1840). In addition, if you are fascinated by the history of flight circa World War II, there’s a local museum for that, too.
