Holiday Historic Home Tour

Flyer for Scarborough Inn's Murder Mystery Weekend
This map shows the current list (and growing) of historic homes and businesses on the Holiday Historic Home Tour.

UPDATE: DUE TO EXTREMELY HIGH DEMAND, WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING RSVPS FOR THIS EVENT. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK EVERYONE FOR THEIR INTEREST IN THIS NEW TRADITION IN THE MAKING. PLEASE CONTACT EMAIL SNE@SCARBOROUGHINN.COM IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING FOR THIS YEAR'S TOUR OR IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE A HOST FOR NEXT YEAR'S TOUR.

VOLUNTEERS WILL BE OFFERED TWO WRISTBANDS (ONE FOR THEM AND ONE FOR A LOVED ONE) AND A CHANCE AT ANOTHER TIME TO TOUR THE HOMES.

On Saturday, December 9, 2023...

the neighbors of Ocean City's Historic District invite the public to tour their decorated homes and businesses.

The evening starts at 5pm. Show up to Scarborough Inn at 720 Ocean Avenue to get a free wristband (required to enter private homes on the tour) and a printed map showing which homes will be on the tour.

Interested in including your historic home on this year's tour?

Contact Sne at Scarborough Inn (sne@scarboroughinn.com) to be included on the map and the fun neighbor meetings leading up to the event [UPDATE: We can no longer accept hosts for this year. Please email me if you are interested in hosting next year]. Include your name, OCNJ house address, and a mobile number in your email.

Want to reserve a wristband?

RSVPs aren't required, but they're greatly appreciated. [UPDATE: We are no longer accepting RSVPs for this tour due to extremely high demand.] Likewise, shoot an email to sne@scarboroughinn.com and we'll make sure you're on the NICE list. [UPDATE: Don't. We're looking for volunteers, not more guests.] We'll have a wristband waiting for you in the Scarborough Inn lobby.

The Shoppes at the Asbury (located in the Crown Bank Building at 801 Asbury Ave) will offer a tour of their creatively adapted retail space in the former bank lobby. And their bank vault will be open for public viewing that evening only!

If you've only seen OCNJ in the summer, you've only seen half of it! Well, a quarter of it, as calendars go.

See you on December 9th!
